Prior to turning freelance in 2003, Peter was a photo editor at the Sunday Herald newspaper, giving him an invaluable insight into what makes editors and publishers tick, helping him to anticipate their requirements and produce the perfect images for publication.

Before joining the Sunday Herald he was a photographer working exclusively for the Sunday Times, travelling throughout the UK and beyond, covering a diverse range of features and live sporting events, while working to tight deadlines.

Peter studied photography in Glasgow and photojournalism in Sheffield under the guidance of the National Council for the Training of Journalists.
